I can buy candy - why shouldn't I just do-it-myself?
Because there is far more involved in assembling a candy buffet than you may first realize. You will need to buy candy in very large quantities - often at high retail prices. You will also have to purchase a variety of large glassware and scoops , easily spending $100+ on containers you will have no use for after the event. Then, you will have to make sure someone is available to set it up and tear it down for you. Additionally, you'll need to come up with labels or a candy menu and take-away bags or boxes to complete the display. Finally, some venues will not permit customer-provided food. Yes, anyone can throw candy in a jar. However, Miss Sprinkles creates a one of a kind candy buffet personalized for your event. Our buffets serve as an edible decoration and an unforgettable experience for your guests. And, best of all, you don't have to do a thing!
How much candy can I expect to receive per guest?
The standard serving-size is 1/4 lb per person. We will provide ample candy to allow your guests to enjoy the display. And remember - you get to keep the leftovers!
Can I consider this my favor to my guests?
Absolutely! Guests love a consumable favor, and this one is interactive. Not only will your guests enjoy selecting their favorites, they will have the opportunity to further mix and mingle with each other. They can enjoy some at the party, and then take some home for later. A perfect combination.
Can I provide some of my own candy?
No. For food service and sanitation reasons, we cannot allow you to supply any of your own candy. However, if there is a specific candy you want to include, please tell us, and we'll do our best to work it into the display for you!
Do you supply the table?
Unfortunately, no. We do require each client to supply a 6-8 foot table. We can provide a table for your event for $40.
Why is there a limit on how much chocolate I can select?
Because chocolate is more expensive, we limit its use in our buffets to keep the base serving price lower for you. Should you wish to have more chocolate - or even a buffet made up of only chocolate - we can do that. It will simply require a custom price quotation.
Can you do anything other than candy?
Definitely. We are happy to provide cake pops, decorative cookies, cupcakes, chocolate covered marshmallows, fortune cookies, and gourmet chocolate covered pretzels. There are many desserts we can make, just ask.
Can you do a Kosher buffet?
Absolutely. Many candies are available as certified Kosher, and we will be happy to build your display honoring that requirement. Call for an estimate.
Can you accommodate other dietary restrictions?
In many cases, yes. Please let us know your specific needs, and we will do our best to meet them! However, we do not recommend eating any candy products if you are allergic to nuts or other ingredients used in baking. While many products do not contain peanuts or peanut oils, we cannot guarantee that none of the other ingredients have come in contact with nuts or other ingredients that could cause an allergic reaction.
My event is in Northern Kentucky will you travel there?
Yes, we do travel. However, If your event falls outside that area, you will incur a travel charge.

A Candy Buffet is a display of candy(and possibly desserts) that is used to enhance your special day. Candy Buffets are the hottest trend for events. Candy buffets can be used in place of a favor and provide guests with an experience they'll never forget.
How early should I book my Candy Buffet?
We recommend you begin preparations for you buffet as soon as possible to lock in your date. Most events should be booked about 4-8 months out. At the bare minimum, at least 60 days prior to your event. We need adequate amount of time to design and coordinate the look of your buffet table. Booking your event in a timely manner ensures that we are able to order the candy in the specific colors you would like, buy or make props, and allowing for unexpected shipping delays. A lot of planning and preparation goes into designing a candy buffet. We require 20% deposit with a signed contract.
How early do you setup on the day of my event?
We will begin to setup your buffet 2-3 hours before your guests are scheduled to arrive. After your event is over, we will return to take down everything.
What is needed to secure my date and time?
We require a $100 deposit to secure your date and time. Once we develop your design, we will give you an estimate You will be required to give a 20% deposit. Then two weeks before your event, the remaining balance must be paid. We are willing to work with you to develop payment plans. We do accept credit cards.
What type of events can a candy buffet be used for?
Candy Buffets work at any type of event where you want to provide a sweet treat. These events may include, weddings, birthday parties, bridal showers, Bachelorette parties, bachelor parties, baby showers, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, Sweet 16s, Corporate events, and Church events to name a few. Candy Buffets bring people together, and are a great conversation piece.
Do you provide the containers?
Yes, the rental of all the vases, scoops, dessert stands, and candelabras are included in the price. We decorate the vases and scoops to match the design or theme of the candy buffet.
Can you provide a candy attendant for my buffet?
Yes, for an additional fee of $25/hr we will have a Qualified and Professional Candy Hostess serve your guests, replenish the jars, and keep your candy buffet neat and organized. It is beneficial for you to get an attendant because if anything breaks while we are there, you are not responsible.

What kind of candy should I buy for my buffet?
The most popular trend is to purchase candy based on your wedding colors, seasonal colors or theme. It is entirely up to you. We build each buffet based on information you provide us. If you have no idea what candy to offer then going with a color scheme is a great option for your buffet. It will look gorgeous as a main focal point at your event. Just tell us the colors you want to go with and we will suggest the candies available in those colors. You would be amazed at what is available. If you would rather choose your favorite candies for your buffet, you can do that too! We want to provide you with your dream candy buffet!
Can I choose the candy and the colors for my buffet?
Of course. We strive to make your candy buffet one of a kind, so it is fully customizable and the choices are all yours. However, choosing the right candy is not that easy. Not only does it have to taste good, it has to look good as well. It takes time to find the right candy jar for specific candy. It's like art, you have to find the perfect balance. We are here to help. The majority of our clients rely on us to choose most of the candy and then we include one or two of their favorites. Remember, chocolate is more expensive, so you might want to limit the amount of chocolate you choose.
